This website serves as a space for me to explore the effects of he AIDS pandemic in not only contemporary America, but on an international scale as well. I will be evaluating primary sources through many institutions such as Georgia State University’s Special Collections and the NAMES Project.
Through my scholarly research, I hope to leave readers with critical commentary on the effects of the AIDS pandemic that is informed, relevant, and personal. The synthesis of these three principles in each post will yield a body of work that reflects my personal understanding of the AIDS pandemic through my research of related primary sources and material culture. I hope make the AIDS pandemic very personal to my readers– hopefully causing them to inform and push others towards action regarding this issue too.
